Welcome!
So glad you’re here. My name is Jacqueline (Jackie). I have over 14 years of experience serving children ages birth to 18 in the state of Texas. I am licensed by the board of Texas and maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I am also recognized as a Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) by Neo-Health Services.
I became a Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) in September 2022. Through my training, I am able to combine my love of speech and language pathology with my passion for wellness.
Given my passion in this specialized field, I received monthly training and completed over 50 additional hours of continuing educational courses in the area of orofacial myology as a member of Hallie Bulkin's Myo Membership from July 2020 until February 2023.
In March 2023, I completed Michelle Emmanuel’s Pre and Post Frenectomy Oral Motor & Whole Body Therapy coursework to increase my specialization with infants who present with oral dysfunction and restrictions.
In August 2024, I completed the Breathe MYO Workshop course with The Breathe Institute to continue expanding my knowledge in pre and post frenectomy care.
Additionally, I completed special training in Feeding Therapy by graduating from Feed the Peds, a comprehensive 12-week course. Additional trainings I have received include, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
I am passionate about early intervention, orofacial myology, treating oral dysfunction and restrictions, treatment in the child’s most natural environment and working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
I live in Red Rock, Tx with my husband and two daughters. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, traveling, listening to Functional Medicine and Health and Wellness podcasts, and exploring local coffee shops.
I look forward to working together to help your child thrive!
